Blue Badge parking exceptions
Please note that there are parking spaces not available to Blue Badge holders. Designated disabled bays may also be used by non-Blue Badge holders for loading and unloading.
Where you cannot park
Blue Badge holders are NOT ALLOWED to park in bays reserved for specific users, such as:
permit holders only bays
resident permits only bays
loading bays
taxi bays
doctors' bays.
Loading and unloading in disabled bays
Other vehicles may park in a disabled bay for the purposes of loading or unloading goods for a maximum period of twenty minutes.
Loading and unloading must:
involve heavy or multiple goods
be to an adjacent property
be a continuous activity that is seen to be taking place by a parking attendant.
