Buses serve Blackheath, Charlton and Woolwich from Trafalgar Square (Route 53) and Greenwich from Russell Square and Waterloo Station (188) daily. The journey to London takes 50-60 minutes.
Bus services also link Greenwich with other parts of the borough, including Eltham and Woolwich.
Coach
Coach services run to and from Victoria Coach Station, central London to Greenwich. For further details telephone the coach station on 020 7730 3466 or contact National Express on 08705 80 80 80 for journey details.
Coach parking is available at Charlton Way (south of Greenwich Park) and Norman Road. There is also a drop off/pick up point on Stockwell Street.
Disabled access
The majority of buses are now wheelchair-accessible. The newer low-floor buses have 'kneeling' suspension making it easier for everyone to get on board - especially older people and parents with pushchairs. For more information, contact Transport for London.
Mobility buses designed for those who find it difficult to use normal buses also operate throughout the Greenwich area. They link major shopping areas or hospitals on various days of the week. Contact the Greenwich Tourist Information Centre for up-to-date information.
