Travel grants for school children

There are two schemes to help with travel costs for school children:

Further education travel costs (age 16-19)
School trip grants

Under 18s travel free on buses

All children under the age of 18 who are in full time education can travel free on London buses.

Disabled and under 18

If you are disabled and under 18 it is better to apply for a Freedom Pass as it will enable you to travel free on trains as well.
