Interim Local Implementation Plan (ILIP) 2001

With increasing congestion, more cars on the road, fragmented public transport, pollution and an increasing number of children with asthma, the cost of transport issues across the capital is becoming increasingly high. While many of the problems can only be resolved by tackling them city-wide, this does not mean we cannot do anything locally.

The Integrated Transport Strategy seeks to outline a programme of initiatives to develop public transport and offer real alternatives to the car.
