Race Equality Scheme
The Race Equality Scheme sets out the Council’s commitment as a service provider and employer, to promote race equality in the borough.
It is based on the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 which requires us to:
Eliminate unlawful racial discrimination
Promote equality of opportunity
Promote good race relations between people from different racial groups
The Greenwich Council Race Equality Scheme 2002 to 2005 is our plan for meeting these aims.
