The Corporate Equality Plan explains how the Council aims to meet the targets of the Equality Policy. It also incorporates the Greenwich Race Equality Scheme.
The Corporate Equality Plan will:
- coordinate equality activity across the Council
- provide a structure for monitoring the implementation of Greenwich Council’s Equality Policy
- be reviewed annually
The plan will play a large part in carrying out the Equality Standard for local Government. The Standard is designed to focus on equality in all Council services. The Plan will provide a measure of achievement on equality throughout Greenwich Council.
