School planning statement
The School Planning Statement sets the educational, policy and demographic context in which schools organisation is planned in Greenwich.
The Statement also draws conclusions about the need to add or remove school places within the area, or to alter the pattern of schools.
The Statement replaces the School Organisation Plan that the Council was required to publish annually up to 2004, and underpins our
Children and Young People’s Plan
.
The Statement concentrates on school organisation issues, but it is also intended to produce a companion planning statement for other aspects of the Children’s Services infrastructure.
