What services do older people want?
The Council is committed to providing high-quality services to older people in Greenwich.
We have developed an Older People's Strategy on services for older people in the borough and the best way to provide them.
Strategy themes include valuing older people, healthier communities from older people's perspective, older people's economic lives, technology for older people, and health and social care services.
Consultation process
We ran a consultation process seeking your views on the Draft Older People's Strategy in Autumn 2006.
Healthy ageing consultation
We also ran a Healthy Ageing consultation with the Greenwich Teaching Primary Care Trust. During this consultation, older people were asked to identify the key factors to staying healthy.
