What are Children's Trusts?

Children’s Trusts are the national initiative for improving services for children and young people.

Their aim is to bring existing agencies together to work cooperatively to provide better services.

Working together

Rather than being yet another organisation, Children’s Trusts are bodies which will coordinate the existing agencies so that they can communicate with each other and work together.

Every area in the country, led by its local authority, will have a Children’s Trust.

Follow the links to the left to explore the Children's Trust and its work.

Children's services directory

The Children's Trust was the main partner in setting up the Children's Services directory - the directory you can use to search online for children's services.
