Cards are not refused by Greenwich but by your bank. There are a range of reasons why the bank can decline your card.
Please note that in 2008/9 there will be an increase in payment card security, therefore a potential increase of payment cards may be declined.
If you are informed that your card has been declined please do not ring Greenwich Council. You must contact your bank directly and they will be able to tell you why your card has not been accepted.
