Living Well event for over-50s

If you are over 50, come and take part in the fourth Living Well in Greenwich event at the new Eltham Centre on Friday 30 May from 11am to 4pm.

Guests will be treated to dance and music by performers of Falling About, a new dance theatre production with a difference, and there will be a seasonal fashion show.

Come along to our healthy living zones, including:
  • alternative therapy treatments
  • Tai Chi exercises
  • lifestyle and health checks
  • healthy eating demonstrations.
You will also have the opportunity to explore the new library with a guided tour, and brush up on your IT skills with a back-to-basics workshop.

Have your say and get advice

You will also have the opportunity to discuss your views and opinions on the Council throughout the day.

Plus, you can drop in on more than 30 stands sharing advice and information on all sorts of topics from benefits to healthy eating.

'Something for everyone'

Councillor Angela Cornforth, Cabinet member for Health, Adults and Older People, said: "The Living Well in Greenwich event has proved a huge success over the last three years and is now firmly established as an important date on the Greenwich calendar.

"There's something for everyone, whether people just want to enjoy a relaxing day out or get more involved, it’s up to them. Above all, it's great that the older people in the borough have an event that really belongs to them and we hope the new venue will attract even more residents this year."

The event is organised by Greenwich Council and Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL).
