To be transformed: General Gordon Square
General Gordon Square and Beresford Square in Woolwich town centre are set to be transformed as part of the Council’s ongoing programme of major regeneration in the town.
Design teams were invited to bid to work on the project by entering the Woolwich Squares International Design Competition.
A winning team has now been announced, which will be led landscape architect Gustafson Porter.

The project forms part of a wider programme of works to improve or create new public spaces in Woolwich town centre.
