May Fayre at Well Hall Pleasaunce

This year's May Fayre at Well Hall Pleasaunce, on Sunday 25 May, will be an extra special affair - it marks the 75th anniversary of the park.

Events will run from 10am to 4pm and there’ll be lots of fun things to do including:

  • stalls
  • inflatables
  • face-painting
  • art
  • a bouncy castle
  • children’s rides.
The entertainment programme features:

  • a magician
  • DJ
  • live bands
  • animals from Maryon Wilson Park.
There will also be demonstrations of:

  • balloon modelling
  • bee-keeping
  • wood
  • wool spinning.

Fun day for everyone

Councillor John Fahy, Cabinet Member for Culture and Olympics, said:

"Well Hall Pleasaunce is a much-loved open space which is enjoyed all year round by the local community.

"The May Fayre is a fun day for everyone and a chance for the whole community to discover the delights of this award winning open space."
