Want to come to a Slovenian themed party? To celebrate almost forty years of being a twin town with Maribor in Slovenia, we will be holding a Slovenian-themed evening at the Town Hall on Thursday 2 November, from 7pm until 11pm.
What's going on?
As part of the celebration you will have the chance to learn more about the friendship between Greenwich and Slovenia by viewing a special exhibition.
You can also enjoy Slovenian foods accompanied by music and a play from Slovenian school children and various other Slovenian artists.
The Mayor of Greenwich, Councillor Harpinder Singh, and the Slovenian Ambassador we be present and you can speak to them about the special town-twinning relationship.
The evening will also include travel information for those wishing to visit Slovenia for their holidays.
Do I need a ticket for this event?
Yes, tickets cost £10 and you can book them from Terry Malone, chair of the Greenwich Town Twinning Association, by calling him on 020 8859 3326.
