Consultation event on the East Greenwich centre development

We held a special consultation event last night where people had their say on the three shortlisted proposed schemes for the East Greenwich development. The development will be built on the former Greenwich District Hospital site.

Your community services in one place

Proposals for the mixed-use development on the former Greenwich District Hospital site include a new local centre with a one-stop shop for your Council services, and leisure, library, health and other community services in this easy-to-access location. The Council is working with regeneration agency English Partnerships on this project.

The three shortlisted developers - First Base, Key London Alliance and The Countryside Consortium - have each drawn up detailed proposals for the development of the site.

There was an exhibition of the three schemes last night and there will be opportunities to comment in writing about each.

Your views will be considered alongside other assessment criteria and following the consultation, a developer is likely to be appointed by the end of the year.
