Police consultation

Do you have something to say about policing and what the police priorities should be for the coming year?

If you live, work or study in London you are invited to take part in a city-wide consultation.

What's it all about?

The consultation is about setting priorities for the Metropolitan Police Authority and Metropolitan Police Service for 2007/8.

You will be able to:

  • identify issues that are of particular concern to you and tell us why
  • tell us what you think the priorities for 2007/8 should be.
You will also be able to view the results of the consultation.

How do I take part?

To register and take part in the consultation, go to the Metropolitan Police website.

If you prefer, you can call the number on the right and ask for a paper version of the form.

Meet the police

After the consultation is closed, ten participants will be randomly selected and invited to visit New Scotland Yard. They will have a private meeting with Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair and MPA Chair Mr Len Duvall to discuss their concerns in person.

Closing date

The consultation is open from 10 April to 7 July 2006.
