The Council's Get Togethers reach Thamesmead this weekend. The Trust Thamesmead Summer Festival will take place at Birchmere Park on Saturday 15 July.

What's going on?
There will be three stages hosting more than 40 acts including:
- Simon Webbe
- Chico
- The X Factor's Brenda
- new boy band 365.
Elsewhere there will be Fun Zones with:
- bungee jumping
- a climbing wall
- simulated roller coaster ride
In the Information Zone there will be lots of local groups and organisations offering help and advice.
There will also be a Talk Cafe where you can have your say on Council services and improvements to the borough.
