Are you ready to party? The next Great Get Together takes place in Charlton Park on Saturday 12 August from 11.00am to 5.00pm. Fun and games for all the family and it's all FREE!
What's happening?
The event coincides with International Youth Day and there will be a whole host of attractions for you to enjoy. You can:
- listen to live bands from rap to rock
- dance to divas
- cheer on local artists in the talent contest
- have a fitness test
- play sports
- climb the climbing wall
- battle the blizzard in the ski dome
- try food from different cultures
- enter free prize draws
- make a kite
- ride the fairground
- take part in the cycling roadshow
- talk to youth workers and advisers at the youth cafe.
Have your say
You will also be able to talk to your local councillors at the Talk Cafe. You can find out about future plans and have your say on the things that matter to you. There will be a hearing loop system for the hard of hearing.

Disabled access
There will be a disabled viewing platform with stewards so that people in wheelchairs or disabilities can watch the stage and events taking place.

By car:
B210 towards Charlton Village. Please note that parking on the site is restricted to cyclists and disabled access. There is limited off street parking.
