Ensuring the best start in life

Councilllor Jackie Smith, Greenwich Council's cabinet member for children, young people and families said:

"Coping with a new arrival can be an exciting but worrying time and our new pack will help reassure families with new babies that they have all the information they need about the support and services available to them in Greenwich.  Every new baby is special and Greenwich Council has been placing significant investment in our babies and young children, to help ensure that each and every one has the best possible start in life."

Great idea

New dad, Tony, commented:

"It’s a great idea to make sure families with new babies have information available to them about all the help they can get in Greenwich.  I’m sure it will help us as we start our new life with Alfie."
