Sport: Wheelchair basketball is one of the 2012 events
Local community groups and residents are being offered the chance to look around the new Olympic Park site and the home of the Olympic Arena. The sites, for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, are in Stratford in the borough of Newham.
Tour dates
Free guided bus tours of the Olympic sites are available to Greenwich residents and community groups in the borough on the following dates: - 26 June 2009
- 31 July 2009
- 4 September 2009
- 9 October 2009
- 13 November 2009
- 18 December 2009
Important note
Visitors over the age of 16 must present valid photographic identification (valid passport or driver’s licence) on the day of the visit.
Access to the site will be denied if this identification is not produced. No photography will be allowed on the tour.

If you or your group are interested in attending, please email admin2012@greenwich.gov.uk with your address and daytime phone number.
Each tour can take 30 people, but you must book early as they are very popular.
If the tours are fully booked your name will be put on the waiting list.
