Woolwich's riverside location means it is steeped in maritime history. In 1512, Henry VIII chose Woolwich as the site where his flagship ‘Henri Grace a Dieu’ would be built, and hence a Royal Dockyard was established.
Other notable venues available to hire include the Royal Artillery Museum and the elegant Town Hall.
