Britain's first low-energy foodstore in Greenwich
Greenwich and its partners have developed a clear strategy for the future. As well as creating a diverse, balanced and skilled population, a safe community and quality housing, we aim to establish Greenwich as a major international tourist destination.
The following major developments are set to expand the range of leisure, retail, entertainment and, eating and drinking facilities in the borough:
- Royal Arsenal - includes the Royal Artillery Museum, a new riverside walk and Heritage Centre
- Greenwich Peninsula - the transformation of The O2 (formerly known as the Dome) into a sports and concert arena, entertainment, leisure, retail outlets, restaurants and bars
