Zhan Zhuang (standing meditation)

Considered one of the most powerful forms of qigong, Zhan Zhuang literally means 'standing like a tree'. It is thought to help condition the body and mind.

In this meditation exercise, you focus on building internal strength while holding fixed postures.

'Chinese yoga'

Some people call Zhan Zhuang 'Chinese yoga'. Though not strictly correct, it has the advantage of being easier to pronounce.
