Celebrate black history throughout October. Black History Month presents a wonderful opportunity to find out more about the contributions made by people from black and minority ethnic communities to the development of modern British society.
This year we have a fantastic range of events available from exhibitions, lectures and workshops to arts and theatre projects.

Celebrate achievements
Council Leader, Chris Roberts said: "I sincerely hope that everyone, regardless of their background, will take the time to visit some of the events and activities on offer and use Black History Month as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of black and ethnic minority people in this country."
