Anne Frank and Family comes to Woolwich
Find out more about the life of Anne Frank at our photography exhibition, Anne Frank and Family.
The FREE exhibition will take place at Woolwich Town Hall from Monday 13 October until Friday 24 October. It tells the untold story of the life that Anne Frank led before going into hiding.
It is suitable for all ages and gives you the chance to see a beautiful and poignant collection of photographs of Anne and Margot Frank during their happy childhood in Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
The photographs were taken by their father, Otto Frank, and capture the girls’ formative years with friends, enjoying the beach and experiencing special occasions.
They also provide an insight into the work of a highly skilled amateur photographer.

Activities to promote tolerance and trust
The exhibition is part of a series of activities to promote tolerance and trust that will take place during Councillor Steve Offord’s year of office as Mayor of Greenwich.
The Anne Frank Trust is one of the two mayoral charities for 2008/9 and events will continue in secondary schools across the borough over the next year.
Enjoy the history of Anne Frank
Councillor Offord said:
"I’m delighted the town hall is hosting this exhibition and giving Greenwich residents the opportunity to enjoy the history of Anne Frank."
