Museum of Artillery in the Rotunda

Most of the Rotunda's collections are now on display in the Firepower museum. The building was originally a large bell-tent erected in St. James's Park in 1814 for a special exhibition.

The museum moved to the present location six years later where its architect, John Nash, constructed a permanent lead roof and central supporting pillar.

Group visits

The museum is not open to public but group visits can occasionally be arranged. For more information, please enquire at the Firepower museum.
