Travelling to the Heritage Centre
You can get to the Heritage Centre on foot from the Royal Arsenal pier (two minutes), Woolwich town centre or Woolwich Arsenal train station (five minutes), the Woolwich Foot Tunnel (about ten minutes) and from the Thames Barrier (30 minutes).
Coming by car or public transport? Here's how:
Train
Woolwich Arsenal from Cannon Street, Charing Cross and London Bridge. Five-minute, signposted walk from Woolwich Arsenal to the Heritage Centre.

Buses to Woolwich: 51, 53, 54, 96, 99, 122, 161, 177, 180, 244, 380, 422, 469, 472. Plan your journey by entering SE18 6ST as the destination using the

Tube

Ferry
The
Woolwich ferry
is a free river crossing service operating between North Woolwich and Woolwich. A ten-minute signposted walk from the Woolwich end takes you to the Heritage Centre.
Car
On-street parking (pay-and-display) is available in Woolwich town centre. There are also car parks you can use.

Parking spaces for disabled visitors are available closer to the Heritage Centre. If you require a disabled space please telephone in advance of your visit.
