The 16th century Tudor Barn, now a tea room
The Tudor Barn is all that remains of the 11th century country mansion that was built for Sir Thomas More's daughter Meg.
The 16th century building has been charmingly restored.
The tranquil grounds, known as Well Hall Pleasaunce, contain a medieval moat and a scented garden.
The Tudor Barn is available for hire for up to 400 and is a licensed venue for civil partnerships and wedding ceremonies. It has outside space for a marquee.
There is a daytime Heritage Centre and licensed cafe open Monday to Sunday 10am to 6pm and the 1568 @ Tudor Barn bar and brasserie open Thursday to Sunday 6pm to 10.30pm.
