Parent and Toddler Groups and under-5s play centres provide a place for parents, carers and childminders to relax and chat together while babies and toddlers play with a variety of toys and play materials alongside other children.

Groups are often set up by parents and usually meet for a few hours once or twice a week. 

Parents and carers always stay with their children - it is for this reason that groups do not have to be registered by Ofsted.

Please note - these groups usually run during term time only.

Before visiting a group

Information about Parent and Toddler groups changes frequently. If you are visiting a group for the first time please telephone them beforehand to check days and times and if there is a waiting list.

Cost

There is usually a small charge to cover room hire, running costs and refreshments.
