Parent and Toddler Groups and under-5s playcentres provide a place for parents, carers and childminders to relax and chat together while babies and toddlers play with a variety of toys and play materials alongside other children.
Groups are often set up by parents and usually meet for a few hours once or twice a week.
Parents and carers always stay with their children - it is for this reason that groups do not have to be registered by Ofsted.
