Each academic year, Greenwich schools recruite an average of over 100 primary and 100 secondary Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).
We run a recruitment programme for both primary and secondary NQTs because our schools value the enthusiasm, vitality and fresh ideas that NQTs bring.
Greenwich Local Authority is working hard with our schools to improve standards, we believe that having the best teachers is key to this. This is why we take NQT recruitment so seriously and invest so heavily in NQT induction, along with continuing professional development throughout a teacher's career.
