Abbey Wood School is a mixed, multi-cultural learning community. All students are expected to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
We provide a stimulating, secure and caring environment and work closely with parents and carers to provide the best possible education for every child.
School closure
Abbey Wood is closing in 2009 to make way for St Paul's Academy on the school site. The school no longer admits pupil into Years 7, 8 and 9.
However, it continues to admit pupils in other year groups. Pupils may benefit from the advantages this brings in terms of smaller class sizes and more individual attention.
The school provides a wide range of opportunities for pupils, both inside school hours and through extra-curricular activity, including a variety of after school clubs and school trips.
