Primary school achievement and attainment tables

The primary school achievement and attainment tables for Key Stage 2 are published to provide you with relevant information on the performance of primary schools in your local area.

What are the tables based on?

The tables are compiled using the achievements of 11 year old pupils in the local area and special schools.

These figures are taken from the National Curriculum results and then compared with other schools, both in the borough and the rest of England for national averages.

What can I find out from them?

The tables provide background information on each school, including its name, address and telephone number, as well as how much value each school has added, based on the progress made by individual pupils from:

Ofsted reports

If you are using the tables to choose a primary school or checking the performance of your current choice, please bear in mind that the information in these tables is only part of the picture of the school's overall achievements.

The results should be considered alongside other sources of data such as Ofsted reports, the school prospectus and the Governors' Annual Report.
