Set in the heart of Woolwich in a busy shopping area, this is a district library with a full range of services. 
Woolwich Reference Library is located on the first floor.

Services on offer include:

  • free internet access and a range of software (all computers are shut-down 15 minutes before closing time)
  • PlayStation games for hire
  • scanners, colour and black and white photocopiers and CD burners
  • books for loan - a constantly updated supply of books including fiction, information, education and leisure
  • large print books
  • children's and teenage literature
  • books on tape
  • videos and DVDs
  • music CDs.

Regular events

  • Chatterbooks reading group for kids aged 8-11
  • Homework Club - ages 10 to 14 years, held upstairs in the reference library
    Saturdays, 10am to 11am (term time only)
  • RASCALS After School Club - an after school club for new arrivals to Greenwich aged 8 to 13
    Thursdays, 4pm to 5.30pm (term time only)
  • Toddler Time - stories and rhymes for your under fives
    Mondays 11am to 11.30am
  • Sing-a-Song Dad
    Saturdays 11 to 11.30am
  • Baby Rhyme Time 
    Thursdays 11am to 11.30am
  • Stories and Rhymes for under 5s 11.30am to 12noon (term-time only)
  • Reading group for adults

* Only the lending section is open on Wednesdays, not the Reference Library.
