West Greenwich Library

 
Set in a Grade 2 listed building in the heart of west Greenwich, this model library holds three collections: the lending library, an extensive collection of African Caribbean books, magazines and videos, and the schools' library service. This is subscription based, and teachers are welcome to come and browse.

Temporary closure

West Greenwich Library closed for major refurbishment from Monday 2 November and will reopen on Monday 22 February 2010.

Books, DVDs and CDs from West Greenwich Library can be returned to any Greenwich Library or renewed by telephone (020 8921 5750) or online.

Diana Rimel - The Ashburnham Triangle
Diana Rimel BA, local historian and lecturer, will talk about the book she has just revised and rewritten. Copies will be on sale at the talk.

5pm to 6.30pm
Talk by Lindsey Davis on the Falco novels

Rhymes, stories and merriment with the Early Year Librarian for the under 5s.

Services on offer include:

  • free internet access and a range of software (all computers are shut down 15 minutes before closing time) 
  • books on loan including fiction, information, education and leisure
  • large print books
  • books on tape
  • videos and DVDs
  • music CDs.
