You can also access free reference materials such as the online Encyclopaedia Britannica.

PIN and barcode
To get the most out of the Online library service you will need a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
You can find out your PIN by emailing, phoning or visiting your local library.
With a PIN you can:
- renew or reserve any stock item online
- see details of all the items you have borrowed or reserved (you also need the barcode number on your library card to access this service).
Without a PIN you can:
- find books, CDs and many other materials using the search and catalogue functions
- use the online Encyclopaedia Britannica and xreferplus services for free.
