Planning your future
Don't wait, start now, get ahead ...
Use the timetable below to plan for your future.
October/November 2007
This is the time when you should be thinking about your Gplus options for September 2008. Talk to your family and teachers about which courses would be best for you. Check the dates of the open evenings and visit as many centres as possible. Centres start accepting applications after open evenings.

January/March 2008
It is important to decide as soon as possible what courses you would like to study in September and make an application, if you haven't already done so. Application forms are available from all Gplus centres and Connexions. You can use these forms for all Gplus courses including work based learning, e.g. apprenticeships.
April/June 2008
You will receive an offer of a place at your chosen Gplus centre; some offers are conditional on your examination results.
August/September 2008
You will be invited to enrol in late August or early September. If you have not met the entry requirements for your chosen course, you will be offered an alternative course that meets your needs. At this stage it is still not too late to apply, but remember your first choice may be full by then.
