Gplus stands for Greenwich plus 16, which means that if you are aged 16 and above you are entitled to learn a wide range of courses at Gplus centres across the borough. Completing the Gplus application form is the first step towards your future.

October/November 2009

This is the time when you should be thinking about your Gplus options for September 2010. Talk to your family and teachers about which courses would be best for you. Check the dates of the open evenings and visit as many centres as possible. Centres start accepting applications after open evenings.

December 2009

It is important to decide as soon as possible what courses you would like to study in September, and make an application if you haven't already done so. Application forms are available from all Gplus centres and Connexions. You can use these forms for all Gplus courses including work based learning, e.g. apprenticeships.

April/June 2010

You will receive an offer of a place at your chosen Gplus centre; some offers are conditional on your examination results.

August/September 2010

You will be invited to enrol in late August or early September. If you have not met the entry requirements for your chosen course, you will be offered an alternative course that meets your needs. At this stage it is still not too late to apply, but remember your first choice may be full by then.
