Courses
What qualifications do I need?
Our courses progress in levels from pre-entry to level 3. The information below will let you know what qualifications you need to apply for a course.
Pre-entry and entry level courses
If you have achieved few or no examination passes, then successful completion of entry courses will provide you with the qualifications to progress to level 1.
Level 1 courses
If you have achieved few or no examination passes but have basic literacy and numeracy skills, then successful completion of these courses will provide you with the qualifications to progress to level 2, training or employment.
Level 2 courses
If you have achieved several D-G grades at GCSE or equivalent, then successful completion of these courses will provide you with the opportunity to improve those grades and achieve further qualifications in a range of areas of learning and progress to level 3, training or employment.
Level 3 courses
If you have achieved four or more A*-C grades at GCSE or equivalent, then successful completion of these courses will provide you with the qualifications to enable you to go on to University, or employment in a range of professions with training for higher levels of management and responsibility.
