The Council is legally obliged to send somebody to check your gas applicances once a year. We will contact you to let you know when an operative worker will be calling.
Regular servicing ensures that gas appliances will work safely and efficiently for longer.
Your obligation
You are obliged, under your tenancy agreement, to allow access to your home for your gas appliances to be checked.
If you do not give us access, we will consider legal action to force you to do so.
