What is Greenwich Homes?

Greenwich Homes is the Council’s choice-based lettings scheme. It allows you to search and bid for a home of your choice.

We advertise empty Council and housing association homes weekly online and in Greenwich Time. Each advert shows what kind of customer the property is suitable for. You can then bid for the property of your choice.

To participate in the Greenwich Homes scheme you must be on the Council’s housing register. When you have registered you will be sent a registration number, and you can then start searching for a suitable property.

Looking for work or training?

If you are on the housing register and are looking for a new home, you may also be interested in employment and training. A new Home Employment Connections service has been introduced especially for Greenwich Homeseekers.

Visit the Home Employment Connections website

Using the easy-to-use website, you can explore the opportunities available in the borough to help you plan your way into training and employment.

There is information on the wide range of organisations that offer advice and guidance on:

  • applying for jobs
  • writing a CV
  • improving your skills through training or volunteering
  • in-work benefits.
You will also find useful website addresses and live jobs pages providing you with details of current job vacancies.

Please note, you will need your housing registration number to log in to the website.

If you are not on the housing register and want to explore your employment and training opportunities, you get help from Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB)
