If you have made a complaint to your service provider and are not happy with their response, you can contact the Supporting People Team using the contact details on the right.

What happens next?

The Supporting People team will:

  • record your complaint and reply in writing within 15 days of receiving the complaint
  • write to the organisation and ask them about the complaint and what they did to help
  • ask the organisation for details of other complaints they have received in the past year
  • if appropriate, meet or visit you and the service provider
  • provide a decision on the complaint within 6 weeks of the complaint being made
This will not affect your right to approach the relevant ombudsman.
