Community participation team
The Community Participation and Diversity team forms part of the Council's Neighbourhood Services department. It works with tenants living in Council accommodation.
Calendar of events
The team sets up and runs regular meetings, forums and community events for Council tenants throughout the borough. These are designed to empower tenants by getting them involved in the Council's policy and decision-making that affects their homes and local community.

'Community Participation' is all about taking part at a local level. Just a small contribution from a few individuals can make a big difference to how residents feel about living in the borough and sharing their neighbourhood and its resources with each other.
How can I get involved?
There are many ways that you can get involved, from joining your local Housing Panel or Tenants Association to focus groups about particular issues and telephone conferences.
Our service standards
You can download the Local Service Standards & Performance Indicators for the Community Participation and Diversity team below. This document shows you the level of service that you can expect.
