Temporary accommodation
What type of temporary home is available?
Different households have different needs, so we have a variety of properties available. Most are situated in Greenwich borough and vary in size from bedsits to four bedroom properties and can be flats, maisonettes or houses.
We use the following types of properties:
Hostels
Individual houses
Blocks of flats
Housing association managed properties.
We have some adapted accommodation for applicants who have special needs such as physical disabilities as well as access to supported housing schemes for those who are at risk, such as single vulnerable people and women fleeing violence. All our hostel properties are furnished.
You can expect to find a property that is clean, safe and secure.
Repairs
We aim to keep all our properties in a good state of repair. Whilst we cannot carry out every repair you request, we will endeavour to carry out all major repairs at the earliest opportunity.
You can help us to maintain our properties to the highest possible standard by:
Reporting repairs required as soon as possible;
Letting our workers in to do the repairs;
Maintaining your accommodation to the standard at which you found it. If not better.
