Property standards

Decent Homes is a standard that all Council properties should meet by 2010.

The Decent Homes standard means that your home should:

  • meet the statutory minimum standard
  • be in a reasonable state of repair
  • have reasonably modern facilities and services
  • provide a reasonable degree of thermal comfort.
Use the links on the left to find out more.

Go to the My Home page to find out when your property will be brought up to standard.
