Unhappy with our service?
You have the right to complain if you are unhappy with the service you receive from Greenwich housing staff. The Council has set out a list of
Housing Service Standards
, we want you to
tell us
when we fall below this standard.
Rehousing
We know we cannot always rehouse everyone in need. We cannot rehouse everyone quickly or always give those we do rehouse the home they would ideally like. Where a lack of resources prevents us from satisfying everyone’s needs and wishes, our staff should explain what we cannot help with and offer advice on alternatives.
Appeals
You should use the
appeals procedure
if you have been refused rehousing priority and you believe your case is exceptional and want it to have another hearing. This does not stop you making a complaint if you also think your case has been handled badly.
Talk to us
Of course we want you to go on talking to housing staff about any problems you have. If you have made your enquiry and you are not satisfied with the services you have received, or you think there has been an unreasonable delay in providing the service, you can make a complaint.
