What you can expect from us
We are committed to giving you the best possible service. By setting service standards we can monitor our performance, improve delivery and meet your housing needs effectively. We will review the standards regularly and ask for your views.
When you contact the Housing Needs Unit or Housing Aid Centre we will:
Treat you fairly and not discriminate against you because of age, gender, race, faith, disability or sexual orientation.
Be polite, professional, honest and helpful.
Respect your confidentiality. We will only share information with people outside the service if you agree or if we must do so for legal reasons, which we will explain to you.
Ensure that the way we communicate with you is clear and easy to understand.
Provide interpreters or signers, and provide translated material in various formats when necessary.
Publish details of how well the service is doing, and regularly ask for your views.
Always work towards improving the service and involving you when we plan changes.
