Housing Aid Centre
The Charter Mark award-winning Housing Aid Centre offers advice and assistance to resolve housing problems. We provide a
drop-in advice service
during opening hours, with appointments given if more detailed advice is needed.
We give help and advice to:
private tenants
homeowners with mortage arrears and other problems
housing association tenants
people looking for private rented accommodation (we can sometimes find hostel places for single homeless people)
Advice for Council tenants
Unfortunately, we are unable to advise Council tenants. If you are a Council tenant and need housing advice, there are three local
Community Law Centres
that can help. You can also contact:
Greenwich Housing Rights

Resolving disputes
Our Tenancy Relations Officers help resolve disputes between private landlords and tenants, usually in in regards to harrassment and illegal eviction.
Improving conditions
We also aim to improve conditions in private sector housing and hold regular landlord forums to try and achieve this.
Homeless?
You may be eligible for Council housing if you are homeless. see the
Find a home
section or visit the
Housing Needs Unit
.
