Facilities and support for disabled children

There are many facilities available in Greenwich to help disabled children and their families.

Learning advice

If you need help with a child who has learning difficulties, you will find everything you need to know in our special educational needs section.

Toy library

The Greenwich Toy Library is for all children and young people with special needs. Parents and children can borrow toys and books. See the Toy Library website in the Useful links menu to the right for more.

Help group

The Sense Family Network provides opportunities for deaf-blind people, children and families to meet. There are a range of events to allow family and friends to support each other and share ideas. See the link in the Useful links menu to the right for more.

Further information

Our Children's Information Service will be able to provide you up-to-date details of facilities and support groups in the borough. You can also contact our Children with Disabilities team using the contact information in the menu to the right for advice and information.

The Useful links menu on the right will take you to more information on support, advocacy, shared care and help available for parents and carers of children and young people with disabilities.
