Our 'Making a decision to go into a care home' booklet will give you information about the help that is available when you are thinking about going into a care home and you have savings or capital assets (e.g. property).

You will find the information helpful if your savings and capital asset levels are or will be above those that entitle you to financial
support from the Council towards the cost of a care home and you have to 'self-fund' your own care.
