The Metro Centre

 
The Metro Centre in Greenwich run a series of Clinics for people at risk of HIV or STI infection.

All services provided are free and confidential, although you may be asked to provide information relating to your sexual history and any risks.

No appointment is necessary and staff try to see everyone. Although, late arrivals sometimes cannot be seen when clinics are busy.

Greenwich gay and bisexual men can ring to make appointments for the Wednesday and Saturday Pitstop Clinics.

Clinics

The Clinics currently available are:

Tuesday - 6pm to 8pm
Penelope's Pitstop Clinic for lesbian and bisexual women

Wednesday - 6.30 to 8.30pm
Pitstop Clinic for gay and bisexual men

Saturday - 11am to 1pm
Pitstop Clinic for gay and bisexual men

Saturday - 2pm to 4pm
Pitstop Youth Clinic for lesbian, gay and bisexual people under the age of 25


Services

Generally, the following services are available:

  • Rapid HIV testing - results in 30 minutes
  • Hepatitis A testing
  • Hepatitis B testing
  • Syphilis testing
  • Hepatitis A vaccinations
  • Hepatitis B vaccinations.
