Greenwich Council, the NHS, and local voluntary groups and private agencies have worked together to agree quality standards for community care services.
Services provided by, or on behalf of, Greenwich Council, such as residential homes, are all subject to strict regulation, continuous monitoring and regular inspection. Similarly, services that are provided by the NHS, such as district nursing or physiotherapy, are all monitored by the Greenwich Primary Care Trust.
